Service of Acute geriatrics
The Unité de Gériatrie Aigüe (UGA) is a 34-bed short-stay unit for polypathological elderly patients (>75 years), for the management of acute pathologies, decompensation of chronic pathologies or, more specifically, geriatric syndromes (repeated falls, acute confusion, malnutrition). Mainly admitted via the emergency department, direct admissions from the city are possible at the request of local GPs.
