The Service de Diagnostic Biologique Automatisé (SDBA)is part of the Laboratoire de Biologie Médicale (LBM) at Cochin Hospital.

  • At the SDBA, urgent and high-throughput analyses are performed for:
  • Biochemistry;
  • Hormonology;
  • Immunology;
  • Hematology;
  • Parasitology;
  • Pharmacology;
  • Toxicology.


The SDBA medical team has expertise in osteoarticular pathologies and phosphocalcium metabolism, seminal biochemistry and emergency biomarkers. As a university hospital, the SDBA participates in numerous clinical research protocols and in the development and expertise of new biomarkers.
