Service of Biochemistry Hormonology

Prenatal Biochemistry Laboratory founded in 1997 by Dr. F. Muller. Muller:
Receives maternal and fetal samples for the AP-HP and outside the AP-HP
- Performs screening for trisomy 21 by serum markers from 11 Sa to 35 Sa (standard and late and kinetics of abnormal markers)
Biochemical assays on fetal media:
- amniotic fluid for fetal digestive anomalies, spina bifida, Bartter's syndrome, congenital nephrotic syndrome ...
- fetal blood for fetal renal function and indirect signs of infection
-fetal urines, cyst fluids, ascites, fetal pleural fluid.
