Service of Cardiology

The Department of Cardiology offers the most recent innovations in the care and follow-up of cardiovascular patients, from common pathologies (angina pectoris, infarction, rhythm or valve problems, heart failure...) to very severe conditions (heart transplants...), arterial damage), very severe conditions (heart transplants) or rarer conditions (possibly congenital or familial) requiring a high level of diagnostic and therapeutic expertise (reference center for rare hereditary cardiomyopathies and cardiac rhythm disorders, reference center for complex congenital heart disease, sudden death expert site).
It brings together leading physicians in their field, assisted by an experienced paramedical team, around a high-level technical platform, coronary and vascular (angioplasties, stents, cardiac assistance), valvular (percutaneous valves), rhythmological (ablations, pacemaker, implantable defibrillator), congenital (shunt closures), with CT and MRI access, and includes risk factor prevention such as therapeutic education.
It interacts closely with the departments of cardiovascular surgery and vascular medicine, arterial hypertension, nephrology (HEGP/Necker), cardiovascular rehabilitation (Corentin-Celton), and neurovascular (Sainte-Anne).
