Service of Clinical Hematology

Avicenne Hospital's clinical hematology department, treating all types of hematological malignancies.

Theprincipal pathologies managed are:

  • Hematological malignancies(acute and chronic leukemias, non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, Hodgkin's disease)
  • So-called benign but severe hemopathies(congenital or acquired medullary aplasia, hemoglobinopathies)
  • Hematopoietic stem cell transplants (autograft)
  • New drug development in hemato-oncology and immunology

The department's sectors of activity are:

  • Inpatient activity15 ARS intensive beds in two positive pressure antennas (7 and 8 beds respectively) and a 10-bed conventional single room sector
    - Initial management
    - Conventional and high-dose chemotherapy
    - Over 30 self-transplants per year
  • Day hospital activity a large outpatient platform, including day hospital and Hemotherapy Unit in the same structure
  • Consultations and ancillary premises on site

Il n’est pas autorisé de stationner dans l’enceinte de l’hôpital Avicenne. Des places de stationnement sont néanmoins disponibles autour de l’hôpital ou sur le parking du Centre Commercial Avenir de Drancy, situé à moins de 500m de l’hôpital. Il est recommandé de privilégier, dans la mesure du possible, les transports en commun.
