Service of Clinical Hematology

The clinical hematology department takes care of all hematological malignancies and benign pathologies and offers all therapeutic practices except allograft. It has developed specialties in the management of myeloid hemopathies (acute leukemias and myelodysplasias) and in lymphoma (Hodgkin).

Its capacity is 33 beds: 12 intensive care, 12 conventional hematology, 9 day hospital (HDJ).

Its annual clinical activity represents 8,000 consultations, 3,800 HDJ sessions, 505 new patients, 70 autografts and benefits from a hemotherapy branch (graft harvesting).

Fundamental research activity is dynamic within an INSERM unit working on acute myeloid leukemias, myelodysplasias and the biology of hematopoietic stem cells, recognized by two labellisations from the Ligue contre le cancer.
