Service of Hospital Consultation Unit in Occupational Health and Pathologies

The Unité hospitalière de consultation en santé et pathologies professionnelles of the Raymond Poincaré Hospital in Garches was created in 1997 by Pr Jacques AMEILLE and called until 2016 "Unité de pathologie professionnelle, de santé au travail, et d'insertion".

Since 2019, it has belonged to the medico-university department: Neurolocomotor and handicaps of the Groupe Hospitalier Universitaire Paris Ile de France Ouest - Paris Sud.

It is composed of:

The unit COMETE Garches led by Dr. Anne-Claire d'Apolito completes the team for the socio-professional reintegration of hospitalized patients and the assessment of driving skills.

The Unit of Psychic Health and Work, headed by Dr DURET, aims to provide specialized support for you, at the request of one of your doctors or psychologists.

  • Specifically there to support you through difficult professional events.
  • We are a resource player in your care, which will have to be pluridisciplinary: attending physician, psychologists, psychiatrist, occupational physician ...

    Given the number of consultation requests, we cannot carry out close follow-up in the department: follow-up consultations take place every 3 months or so.For this reason, you will often be offered psychological work outside the department, and if necessary psychiatric follow-up, in order to provide you with the best possible support and help you move beyond difficult events as quickly as possible.

It is important to note that we do not perform psychiatric expertiseand that for legal reasons, we cannot establish a certificate of direct link between working conditions we have not observed and the state of health.

NB: The unit specializes in the diagnosis and support of burnout, a pathology for which we will offer you specialized care.

The unit also welcomes occupational medicine students and doctors retraining to work in occupational medicine.
