Service of Infectious and Tropical Diseases

The Infectious and Tropical Diseases Department is staffed by physicians specializing in all areas of infectious disease, with a particular focus on infections of the immunocompromised, travelers and migrants, and emerging infections, as well as HIV infection, tuberculosis, leprosy, sexually transmitted infections, clinical viral infections, infectious dermatoses, vulvar pathology, parasitology and tropical diseases.
The department includes 40 inpatient beds on 3 wards (Pasteur, Nicolle, Yersin), one of which is dedicated to highly contagious patients, a Day Hospital (6 beds), a Transversal Infectiology unit and a consultation with over 10,000 consultants per year.
