Who am I ?
Service of Internal Medicine
The Internal Medicine Department at CHU Henri Mondor is staffed by a team of doctors specializing in internal medicine (3 professors, 1 senior lecturer, 3 hospital practitioners, 2 clinical directors and associate doctors). It cares for patients suffering from rare autoimmune and/or orphan diseases (systemic lupus, antiphospholipid syndrome, scleroderma, etc.), non-malignant immunological hematological diseases and in particular all autoimmune cytopenias (immunological thrombocytopenic purpura or "ITP", autoimmune hemolytic anemia, autoimmune neutropenia, erythroblastopenia), so-called rare systemic and inflammatory diseases that can affect several organs (sarcoidosis, Horton's disease and other vasculitides, Still's disease, etc.), thromboembolic diseases (thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, etc.).), venous thromboembolic disease (phlebitis and pulmonary embolism) when recurrent or of unexplained onset, and patients with prolonged fever or unexplained persistent inflammatory syndrome. The department has been accredited as a rare disease reference center (CRMR) since 2005, and is in particular a national coordinating reference center for the management of autoimmune cytopenias in adults (immunological thrombocytopenic purpura and autoimmune hemolytic anemia, Évans syndrome) (www.cerecai.fr) and a member of the immunohematological rare disease care network (MARIH, www.marih.fr). The department is also an accredited competence center for lupus, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome and rare systemic autoimmune diseases, and affiliated to the rare autoimmune and auto inflammatory diseases network (FAI2R, www.fai2r.org). Depending on the problem (diagnostic approach, treatment administration). In particular, biotherapies and/or follow-up), care can be provided in a consultation, day hospital or conventional hospital. The consultation and day hospital shared with the endocrinology and diabetology unit are located on the hospital's 9th floor (blue elevators), while the conventional hospitalization sector is on the 10th floor (yellow elevators). For consultations, the department receives patients by appointment, with a doctor's letter required, respecting the different referrals from our specialist doctors. The department also offers the possibility of a consultation with shorter lead times by a senior doctor or an internal medicine intern in the final stages of training, supervised by a senior doctor. This emergency consultation is available only on request from your doctor, who must contact us by telephone on 01 49 81 20 76 or 01 49 81 29 05 or by fax: 01 49 81 27 72 or by e-mail: medecine-interne.consultation@aphp.fr). The most diagnostically and/or therapeutically challenging cases are discussed at the department's weekly multidisciplinary consultation meeting. For autoimmune cytopenias (ITP, AHAI), complex cases are discussed and appraised at a dedicated multidisciplinary consultation meeting held every month.
