Service of Long-term care department and relations with nursing homes

The department has 152 inpatient beds, divided geographically between 2 buildings: Fondation d'Heur et de Chemin de la Tour (70 beds, 66 of which are in single rooms) and Orbe (82 beds, 74 of which are in single rooms). The LTC cares for patients with active long-term pathologies and/or those likely to suffer repeated episodes of decompensation, associated with a significant loss of autonomy. They benefit from pharmacological care, taking into account the proper use of medication and HAS recommendations, and non-medicinal care for cognitive and psycho-cognitive stimulation, sensory stimulation and motor activity. The department places particular emphasis on cultural and leisure activities, as well as quality of life.
