Service of Microbiology and hygiene
The Ambroise-Paré hospital offers multidisciplinary care in medicine (intensive care, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, etc.) and surgery (orthopedics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, vascular and digestive surgery). It has outpatient clinics and adult and pediatric emergency services, and is also the AP-HP's referral center for the management of osteoarticular infections (CRIOAC).
The microbiology-hygiene laboratory carries out bacteriology and virology analyses for Ambroise-Paré Hospital, as well as for Sainte-Périne Hospital, the Institut Curie site Saint-Cloud and the Centre Hospitalier des 4 Villes. It also performs diagnostic techniques for mycobacterial infections for the Raymond-Poincaré hospital in Garches and the Georges Pompidou European Hospital (HEGP). It includes a hygiene unit for screening for multi-resistant bacteria and environmental microbiology.
