The Neuroradiology department at Lariboisière Hospital specializes in :

• "Non-invasive" diagnostic imaging by MRI and CT of the brain, face and spinal cord,
• Vascular interventional neuroradiology (NRIV), i.e. the treatment of vascular anomalies of the brain and spinal cord, or their selective angiographic exploration.

The Neuroradiology department's areas of activity

• A Tesla MRI
• A multislice scanner
• Two biplane sensor angiography rooms dedicated to interventional neuroradiology

In diagnostic Neuroradiology

• Exploration of neurological, neurosurgical and ENT pathology.

Interventional neuroradiology

Programmed, or emergency, treatment of cerebrovascular pathologies :

• Arterial obstruction in cerebral infarction,
• Cerebral aneurysms,
• Cerebral and medullary arteriovenous malformations,
• Atheroma of cerebral arteries,
• ORL hemorrhagic emergencies.
• Diagnosis and treatment of pulsatile tinnitus

Traitement des malformations vasculaires des tissus de la face et des membres , décidé lors d'une consultation multidisciplinaire des " angiomes superficiels ".


Reference Center

The Neuroradiology Department at Lariboisière Hospital is attached to the Reference Center for Rare Diseases for RARE VASCULAR DISEASES OF THE CENTRAL AND RETINAL NERVOUS SYSTEM (CERVCO).
