Service of Nuclear medicine
The Nuclear Medicine department at Hôpital Bichat - Claude-Bernard is located on the 2nd floor of the tower. It boasts the latest-generation imaging equipment: 1 PET/CT, 1 PET/MRI and 3 gamma cameras, including 1 dedicated to cardiac imaging.
The department carries out most diagnostic examinations using conventional scintigraphy and PET (Fluor-18 and Gallium-68), particularly in the following fields: cardiology, oncology, inflammatory and infectious diseases (labeled leukocytes). We also perform lung, bone, kidney and thyroid scans. The department is associated with the cardiac amyloidosis reference center.
