Care and innovation
This sums up the department's culture of care.

Caring, means being committed to the person with cancer, whatever the type, stage and degree of severity of their illness, and constantly seeking solutions to improve their care and daily lives.

Caring, also means paying great attention to
the patient's person and fostering their autonomy. We are attentive to patients' wishes regarding their illness, and we also ensure that they can express their opinions, from the outset and throughout their care. 

We also seek to develop the independence of our patients, through strong therapeutic education and support "outside the walls" allowing, on the one hand, patient follow-up at home and, on the other hand, fruitful cooperation with town doctors. 

Innovating, means continually developing a program to improve care. This involves a dual approach of innovation and non-resignation in the face of the seriousness of the disease, expressed through a total commitment to research and the development of bold programs with the aim of enabling patient access to new therapies.
On this basis, several care programs have been set up, including Parcours Ariane, Parcours Équilibre and Cellule Athos.
