Service of Ophthalmology

The Ophthalmology department at Lariboisière Hospital specializes in retinal diseases and surgery.

    - retinal diseases (diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, central serous chorioretinitis, severe myopia, rare retinal vascular anomalies, uveitis etc)
    - surgical pathologies (retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane, macular hole, myopic foveoschisis etc)
  • A sector dedicated to chronic pathologies, requiring intravitreal injections with a dedicated consultation and two injection chairs
  • A research sector: the department offers patients the opportunity to participate in institutional and clinical research protocols

Research 

The department coordinates and participates in numerous research projects in the field of Ophthalmology.
