Service of oral surgery
The oral surgery department has been headed by Dr Jacques LALO since 1992. The department's practitioners have the expertise to perform:
- The choral surgery, encompassing the treatment of various conditions affecting the mouth and teeth.
- Oral implantology, enabling the placement of implants to replace missing teeth in a durable and aesthetic manner.
- The management of extreme bone atrophy, sometimes treated in collaboration with other specialists such as ENT specialists, including options such as zygomatic implants and subperiosteal implants (AMSJI).
- The chpre-implant bone surgery, aimed at restoring or increasing bone volume prior to the placement of dental implants.
- The cmuco-gingival surgery, including procedures on the gums and soft tissues of the mouth, such as gingival grafts and corrections of gingival recession.
- The ch maxillofacial surgery, dealing with complex cases affecting the facial bones, such as the correction of maxillofacial fractures.
- The c surgery for orthodontic purposes, including the use of mini-screws, anchor plates, etc..., to facilitate orthodontic treatments and the correction of dental malpositions.
- Interventions on benign maxillary tumors, aimed at treating growths and non-cancerous lesions of the jaws.
- The treatment of pathologies of the oral mucosa, including the diagnosis and management of lesions of the oral mucosa.
Requests for care by outpatient practitioners
The service does not cover routine dental care such as scaling, cavity treatment or dentures. Implant expertise is deployed in close collaboration with your doctor, primary dentist or orthodontist, to offer optimized, coordinated care. A letter accompanied by an X-ray from your doctor or dentist is mandatory for all requests.
Consultation for general anesthesia
At the initial consultation, no surgical procedures are performed. A clinical examination, often accompanied by a radiological examination, is used to assess treatment options. The procedure will be performed under general or local anaesthetic, and you will be given a detailed estimate.
