Service of Pain assessment and treatment center, mobile palliative care team

The Centre d'Evaluation et de Traitement de la Douleur (CETD) and the Equipe Mobile d'Accompagnement et de Soins Palliatifs (EMASP) at Robert-Debré Hospital are a transervsal team dedicated exclusively to pediatrics. 

The CETD evaluates and provides specific therapies adapted to the various complex pain syndromes of children and adolescents.
This activity is carried out in outpatient clinics, day hospitals and transversally in all the hospitalization departments of the establishments.

The EMASP, for its part, provides support for patients suffering from serious life-threatening pathologies, and also participates in the support of the patients' entourage and caregivers.

Intervention during the support phase and at the end of life takes place mainly after hospitalization in the medical-surgical specialties.
A significant part of the activity also takes place "outside the hospital", without travelling, in close contact with patients and their families, and in coordination with networks, professionals and structures outside the hospital.

The various units are also involved in teaching (within and outside the hospital) and research in the field of pain and palliative care
