Service of Pediatric nephrology
The pediatric nephrology department at Hôpital Trousseau specializes in the management of all forms of renal pathology from the neonatal period through to adulthood, including a program for the management of end-stage renal failure using state-of-the-art hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis techniques, and a kidney transplant program (in collaboration with Hôpital R. Debré Hospital), plasma exchange and immunoadsorptions, as well as LDL apheresis. An antenatal consultation completes the range of services on offer. It is a member of the 'rare kidney diseases of children and adults' and 'nephrotic syndrome' reference centers, and is the center of expertise for many AP-HP hospitals in the Paris region, the provinces and abroad.
