Service of Pediatric nephrology
The department provides:
Management of congenital and acquired kidney disease.
Management of chronic kidney disease and chronic renal failure at all stages - prevention of adult cardiovascular disease.
Management of end-stage renal disease. The department is particularly specialized in the care of children under 5 years of age.
1st pediatric chronic dialysis and renal transplant program at AP-HP.
Renal transplantation (around 50% of activity carried out in Ile-de-France).
Management of nephrotic syndromes, in particular those resistant to conventional treatments (cortico-resistant and cortico-dependent).
Management of pediatric hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS).
