Service of Pediatric nuclear medicine
The Nuclear Medicine Department at the Armand Trousseau Children's Hospital is the only one in France with 100% pediatric activity. Created to meet the pediatric needs of the entire Ile-de-France region, it performs all the scans commonly prescribed for children: bone, kidney, lung, thyroid, digestive and MIBG scans. If you are the parent of a child for whom a scan has been prescribed, please send us the prescription by e-mail or fax, together with your contact details, and we will contact you to arrange an appointment. If you're wondering how the scan works, or how long it will take, you can consult the enclosed brochure "What is a scan". When the appointment is made, we'll send you further documents explaining your child's examination in greater detail. Call us or contact us by e-mail if this document is not sufficient, or if your child has a pathology requiring special care.
If you are the prescriber and you have any questions about the choice of examination, the conditions under which it will be carried out, or our turnaround times, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our doctors will be happy to answer your questions.
