Service of Pediatric otorhinolaryngology and cervicofacial surgery

The Pediatric ENT and Cervicofacial Surgery Department at Hôpital Necker Enfants Malades is one of the largest pediatric ENT departments in Europe. It is the French reference center for rare ENT malformations, but also a reference center for deafness and an integrating center for the European medical research network.
Each surgeon in the department specializes in an area of expertise. All diseases of the head, neck, ear and airways are treated in a specific and personalized manner.

The department is accredited for therapeutic education for parents of children with tracheostomies - To find out more, click here).

The pediatric audiology and cochlear implant activity is the largest in France; the unit is a referral center in all fields ranging from functional exploration to the genetics of deafness.

Research is carried out in partnership with two INSERM units and the IMAGINE institute, an international center for research and expertise.

The department is the center for children's ENT emergencies for the Ile de France region: infectious pathologies, foreign bodies, trauma.

The ENT and cervico-facial surgery department at Necker Enfants Malades hospital is in regular contact with several associations for patients and their families. The association Main dans la Main et Solidaires is also present within the department.

      L'hôpital se trouve à 15 minutes à pied de la gare Montparnasse.
      Il est desservi par :

      • 6 lignes de bus : Lignes 28, 70, 82, 86, 89 et 92 – arrêt Duroc ou Hôpital Enfants malades
      Les voitures particulières ne peuvent pas pénétrer et se garer dans l’enceinte de l’hôpital (à l’exception de quelques places réservées aux handicapés). Il est possible de stationner dans des parcs de stationnement Vinci : 81 rue Falguière, 28 rue Péclet, 37 Boulevard Garibaldi, 8 Boulevard Garibaldi, 12 et 141 Boulevard du Montparnasse.
