Service of Pediatrics and neonatal resuscitation

The pediatrics and neonatal resuscitation department comprises several units: resuscitation, intensive care, maternity pediatrics (kangaroo unit) and the SMUR Pédiatrique 92 - Reference Center for MIN.

The department is type 3. It welcomes all children in vital distress, and specializes in critical respiratory pathology, malformative cardiac pathology (in collaboration with the "Marie Lannelongue" Surgical Center), pulmonary arterial hypertension, therapeutic hypothermia, rare genetic diseases, children of mothers with psychiatric pathology, and problems linked to neonatal adaptation. State-of-the-art life-support and monitoring techniques are available. Two rooms for parents are also available to help families who live far away.

The SMUR 92 service transfers children and newborns in critical condition. The SMUR 92 team is also a reference center for unexpected infant death syndrome (IIDS), for which we are the reference center and guarantee diagnosis and care for parents.
