Service of Pneumology and thoracic oncology
The Pneumology and Thoracic Oncology Department provides care for:
- Primitive cancers of the thorax (lung, pleura, rare tumors...)., including:
- A dedicated rapid diagnosis unit for lung cancers
- A strong clinical research activity and access to therapeutic innovations in Thoracic Oncology
- A referral activity in Western Paris
- Respiratory pathologies such as chronic bronchial diseases (severe asthma, COPD), pulmonary fibrosis and other interstitial pathologies, chronic respiratory insufficiency, pleural pathologies, respiratory infections, tuberculosis, pulmonary embolisms....
- From Rendu-Osler Disease (Center of Competence)
The Department includes a Pneumology and Thoracic Oncology consultation sector, conventional hospitalization, day hospital, and a dedicated technical platform (flexible bronchial endoscopies and bronchial echo-endoscopy, thoracic echography, non-invasive ventilation, pleural gestures...).
For initial consultations, you will be asked to provide a letter from your GP.
appointment booking via the AP-HP patient area is preferred.
