The radiology department at Hôpital Saint-Antoine is located in the basement of the Horloge building. Equipment includes two magnetic resonance imaging machines, 1.5 Tesla and 3 Tesla, and two multi-bar scanners suitable for spectral imaging. The department is equipped with an interventional vascular radiology room, which is also used by the cardiology department for coronary angiography.
In the same geographical area, the ultrasound unit is equipped with two ultrasound machines that enable the performance of all ultrasound examinations including Doppler ultrasound and superficial soft-tissue ultrasound.
The department is equipped with a direct-digitization chest X-ray room, including a panoramic dental X-ray unit, three diagnostic X-ray tables, a room equipped with an image intensifier and twelve mobile X-ray units enabling X-ray images to be taken in the wards or operating theatres.
Commitment to inpatient care is our top priority. This commitment includes optimizing the appointment as close as possible to the imaging request, carrying out an examination under protocolized conditions, and providing images and a validated report within an optimized timeframe.
