The Rééducation et de Réadaptation de l'Appareil Locomoteur et des Pathologies du Rachis department specializes in the medical treatment of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system, whether ofnon-inflammatory origin (lumbago, cervicalgia, herniated disc, osteoarthritis, narrowed lumbar canal, scoliosis, spinal fracture, coccyx pain, shoulder pathologies, sports traumatology) or inflammatory (systemic scleroderma, dermatopolymyositis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis).

The department offers consultations for physical and rehabilitation medicine, sports medicine, manual medicine and rheumatology.Specialized consultations are dedicated to scoliosis, coccyx pain, shoulder pathologies, spinal deformity fitting and spinal infiltrations.

Complex cases can be discussed in the presence of the patient at weekly medico-surgical meetings forspinal pathologies and monthly for upper limb pathologies, sports traumatology and painful joint prostheses.

Education and rehabilitation programs are provided on an individual or group basis. The department has a full technical platformcomposed of two gymnasiums, balneotherapy, a musculoskeletal ultrasound room, a poulietherapy room, a relaxation room, two serious games rooms, equipment dedicated to the analysis of movement, proprioception, walking and balance and muscular performance (isokinetism) and occupational therapy, podology and orthoprosthesis workshops.
