The department cares for patients with
- Unexplained prolonged fever
- Hereditary relapsing fever (familial Mediterranean fever, mevalonate kinase deficiency, CAPS syndrome, TRAPS syndrome, and other rare auto-inflammatory syndromes )
- Vasculitides (Kawasaki disease, Behcet's disease, and other rare childhood vasculitides)
- Inflammatory rheumatism (juvenile idiopathic arthritis, spondyloarthritis)
- Other rare systemic diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, mixed connectivitis, sarcoidosis, non-infectious uveitis).
- The department is a reference center for rare childhood inflammatory diseases. It offers numerous clinical studies and trials of innovative treatments.
- The department's doctors perform joint ultrasound scans and therapeutic procedures (infiltrations).
Any request for consultation by a department doctor must be accompanied by a letter from the attending physician, and the patient must bring all relevant medical documents to the consultation.
- Depending on the context, the hospitalization options offered are: day hospital, week hospital, conventional hospitalization.
