Service of Sleep pathologies -R3S

The Sleep Pathology Department is a diagnostic and treatment service, as well as a scientific research and teaching center for sleep disorders, bringing together neurologists, pulmonologists, physiologists, psychiatrists, stomatologists and endocrinologists (all sleep physicians) in a continuous hospitalization unit, 7 days a week. We are also a National Reference Center for Rare Diseases: narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia and Kleine-Levin syndrome. We care for patients suffering from severe sleep disorders, mainly neurological and respiratory: excessive daytime sleepiness, hypersomnias, sleep apneas and nocturnal breathing difficulties, abnormal agitation during sleep, recurrent nightmares, restless legs and sleep disorders associated with neurological diseases (Parkinson's, dementia, myopathies, sclerosis), respiratory diseases and major obesity. The department does not treat chronic insomnia, except in very special cases (insomnia in Parkinson's disease).
